On 8 August 2023, the final meeting on the Gender Equality Plan at SWW Wunsiedel took place under our leadership. The goal was to discuss the defined measures and put together the final package. We succeeded in doing so!
In the process, we were able to prove: 2750 km distance? ๐ฎ No problem for us! ๐ Since we work internationally and digitally, Lisa Mages and Sophia Rohbogner were supported by our colleague Lisa Ben Baruch, who was live from Israel. ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฑ
What was done during the meeting
โ At the beginning, of course, a short welcome took place. After that, the attendees were once again brought up to the same level by our team. This included why the company is implementing a Gender Equality Plan and what it is. ๐ก
โก This was followed by the brief enumeration of the results and defined measures and their goals.
โข The most important point of this meeting was the discussion of the measures. The reason for this is that they will be publicly viewable in the Equality Plan. Further, they will be implemented by SWW within two years. Thus, we were able to ensure understanding of their importance, and also that everyone felt confident with the number and content. ๐ฅ
โฃ At the end, the further procedure was clarified. Also, it was shown which formal targets will be achieved with the equality plan.
We would like to thank all those present at the final meeting on the Gender Equality Plan at SWW for their participation and the productive discussion. The participants included members of the management, the HR department, a representative of the works council, and the technical management. ๐
For us, it is now a matter of finalizing the documents. This means that everything will be ready for SWW from the beginning of October. Then, the planning and implementation of the measures can begin. ๐ป
