About Sophia
Sophia studied “Renewable Energy Management” at the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences with a focus on “Renewable Energy – International Management” and “Climate Change Management” in her Master’s degree. She spent her internship semester at the Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energies in Denmark. There she mainly did research work, which is now used for workshops, but she also supervised her own projects.
Her bachelor thesis focused on integration and participation of citizens in wind projects, while her master thesis dealt with climate justice during and in the aftermath of international climate negotiations.
Now she works as a project manager in different projects for Es-geht! GmbH with focus on flexibility, sector coupling, sustainable development and participation, covering the following areas:
- Business Development Coordination
- Support in research projects
- Acquisition
