Since 07.11.2022, we have been a participant in the UN Global Compact Initiative – a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices. The initiative was launched in 2000 and is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world. More than 15,000 companies and 3,000 other signatories, located in more than 160 countries, as well as more than 70 local networks participate in the initiative. And now we are too!
We are therefore very pleased to be able to make an active contribution to shaping a more sustainable, transparent and fairer world, together with thousands of other companies and non-economic actors. This gives us the chance to shape the world of tomorrow, as we imagine it together, by doing business responsibly – and thus making it a little better.
In doing so, we are committed to aligning our operations and strategies with the ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. In addition, we want to shape our actions in a way that supports the UN goals and issues enshrined in the SDGs.
Therefore, in future you will also find our contributions to the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the UN SDGs here on our website. To ensure the best possible transparency, we will also publish our future Communication on Progress (CoPs), in which we account for our activities. In addition, we are represented on the UN Global Compact Initiative website, where you can find our profile and discover more about our current work regarding sustainability.
