We are currently working on our interim report for the IDiNA project. We thought it would be interesting for some to learn more about our research projects and our work in general 👨🏻‍💻. Therefore, you will get a short sneak peak into the project 👀👇🏽. In addition to the project description, we would like to point you to the link of the current survey that is running within the framework of IDiNA.

IDiNA stands for “Intelligent Digitalisation of Energy Supply to Optimise Grid Operations and Increase Acceptance”. Wow! Like any project name, first of all an absolute hammer. What sounds very complicated at first is actually quite simple. ✌🏼

🎯 The aim of this IDiNA project is to determine the value and costs of personal data – such as consumption data – as well as their use. At the same time, personal security thinking is to be analysed in the context of the energy transition.

👉🏻 In other words, we want to find out under which circumstances people agree to share their sensitive data so that it can be used for the operation of the grid. Examples of this are financial or other incentives as well as the guarantee of data protection, which also increase acceptance. An integrative validation platform is to be created for this purpose.

👉🏾 Why is this important for the energy transition? With a decentralised, automated and intelligent energy supply, it is important to know what consumption is currently present in the grid. That’s why data from consumers is needed. This helps the companies responsible for the energy supply to adjust it precisely, optimise the use of the grid and thus ensure its stability.

An important part of IDiNA is the involvement of citizens, who can participate through energy communities and thus actively influence this project. Before the end of the project, it is already possible to get involved, influence the final result and receive a Wunsiedl value voucher 💵.

After the IDiNA project description, you will now find the link to the survey here. All people in Wunsiedel can simply take part by clicking on the following link.
